The Pegasus World Cup is always the premier winter event in Miami and this year’s race will be no different. On January 29 the Miami community will gather at Gulfstream Park for an exciting day of world-class sport, entertainment and hospitality.
Just announced, the 2022 Pegasus World Cup is partnering with 1/ST EXPERIENCE, a leader in the hospitality and entertainment space. The group has put together the ultimate list of entertainers for the day, including the launch of Gulfstream Park’s Carousel Club. During the unveiling of Carousel Club, DJ Cassidy will bring his famed Pass The Mic series to stage for the first time. This exciting performance will feature guest artists Ja Rule, Lil’ Kim and Mase, alongside other surprise performers.
“Our goal for Pegasus World Cup is always to produce a race day experience where guests can expect the unexpected,” expressed Jimmy Vargas, CEO, 1/ST EXPERIENCE. “This year, the Pegasus World Cup is all about firsts. It will be the first time DJ Cassidy brings ‘Pass the Mic,’ his viral sensation, live to a stage. It will also be the first time we open Carousel Club before it becomes a permanent fixture at Gulfstream Park. It will also be the first time Faena brings Tryst, their immersive burlesque show, out of the Faena Theater and to Gulfstream Park to entertain guests between the races.”
The event is also excited to be working with E11EVEN Miami and the Carousel Club’s Breakwater Hospitality Group to host VIPs throughout the event. Other VIP areas will include Gala and Davidoff. Pegasus World Cup’s classic Flamingo Room will still be in action this year, where the Faena Live and The h.wood Group’s Delilah will be providing entertainment and cuisine.
Pegasus World Cup is a star-studded event, bringing together some of the most popular locals and out-of-towners. Past guests have included Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, Gene Simmons, Lenny Kravitz, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Olivia Culpo, Vanessa Hudgens and Vin Diesel, to name a few.
While the day is filled with best-in-class hospitality, there is still a range of impressive horse races to watch during the festivities.
